Gather the Tools and Ingredients You Need

Making a Captain America shield cake is easier than you think. All you need are a few basic ingredients and tools. Start by gathering the following:

2 round cake pans
Cake mix
Eggs
Oil
Buttercream frosting
Food coloring
Captain America shield template

Once you have everything ready, you can begin baking your cake.

Bake the Cake

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease the two round cake pans with butter or oil. Prepare the cake mix according to the instructions on the box. Once the cake mix is prepared, divide the batter evenly between the two pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of each cake comes out clean.

Cool and Frost the Cake
